BLAME ZANE is a classic rock blues band born from a love of raw, electrifying rock and soulful blues.  From Aerosmith to ZZ Top, AC/DC to Allman Brothers, our setlist spans the legends of rock. Every show is a high-energy ride through the greatest riffs, solos, and grooves ever written.
 

Zane, a Santa Barbara native, discovered his love for music at an early age, singing in church choirs and performing in musical theater productions before finding his true calling in rock and roll. He went on to front several popular bands, including Zeus, Egypt, Marshall Law, and Southern Cross, developing a reputation as a powerful vocalist and charismatic performer. Zane began touring professionally at just 17 years old and has spent decades entertaining audiences across the country. His recording career includes four albums with St. Elmo's Fire and another with Son of Toil, showcasing his versatility and passion for music. Influenced by iconic singers such as Klaus Meine of the Scorpions, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, and the legendary James Brown, Zane combines soaring rock vocals, stage presence, and soulful energy into a distinctive style that continues to captivate fans today.                                                                                                                        

Jeff Slic Scott is a NYC guitarist who started playing at 11.  He acquired his chops playing in multi faceted cover bands at age 14 sporting a fake mustache for a nightclub act and a red Hagstorm III plugged into a twin reverb which was traded in at once being seduced by a 50 watt Marshall head and cabinet along with a Les Paul Custom. Being chorused by the likes of meeting and playing with pro musicians like Johnny Winter, Walter Becker and others inspired him to pursue music as a lifelong ambition by moving to Hollywood and again meeting, playing, jamming and touring with some of the legends and household names in the Blues and Rock Industry. He is influenced by the late great Johnny Winter, Duane Allman and Eddie Van Halen. The pick and glass slide are extensions of his heart and sole.

 

Bassist Greg Piper is a lifelong "Rock-A-Holic!" Greg has toured the world multiple times with leading Beatles tribute acts Revolution and Working Class Hero, performing at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the premiere of the John Lennon exhibit. After headlining on Royal Caribbean cruise lines for over a decade, he became the award-nominated Musical Director and bassist of the acclaimed show Just Imagine. Greg has appeared as an actor and musician in live multimedia stage shows and is the co-founder, singer-songwriter, and bassist of LA's rock band The Tooners. His love of rock n' roll, dynamic personality, and on-stage persona makes him an audience favorite!

 

Fritz - My Favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Beatles, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Jimmy Hendrix, Nirvana, Deep Purple. My favorite drummers John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) Bill Ward (Sabbath) Dave Grohl (Nirvana) Cozy Powell (Rainbow), Mitch Mitchell (Jimmy Hendrix) Ringo Star, Matt Cameron (Soundgarden) Played with Chris Holmes from WASP for about 7 years, also play with Paul Shortino from Rough Cut and Quiet Riot.
